Let's explore the beautiful old house in Lahore that was featured in the movie's flashback scenes

Kaashvie Nair and Sujeet Sawant went back and forth on a file full of inspiration images. This is an extract from that file, that I put together as a moodboard.

You can see how window design played an important part in fortifying the old world look of the Lahore house. Actors Arjun Kapoor and Nakul Preet Singh take a break in the Lahore house set, in this behind the scenes picture.

Random stained glass squares on a glass door, and the simple hand-woven divider give a feel of home painstakingly put together by a young couple full of dreams!

A cradle in the corner gives away the fact that Sardar was pregnant with their first child while they lived here.

The writing desk seems odd considering their humble cycle business, but it tells us that they were educated, and that Sardar possibly sat here to write letters or do the accounts.

This beautiful still from the movie encapsulates their dreams, hopes and future plans. Here is Sardar carefully drawing motifs on her doors, just like many of us DIYers do today!

The antique corner shelf is a lovely addition to the set. Also notice the cement wall adjunct to the brick walls. Stunning!
